nice day once again for
the Bucyrus YMCA
Triathlon, which was held on Saturday, May 28th.
The event, which consisted of a 500-yard swim, a 12-mile bike
ride, and a 3.5-mile run, welcomed a field of 49 individuals and
13
teams. (Our numbers were down this year - we're blaming the
$4.00 gas prices).Our winners this year were both repeaters from 2010. The winner of the Men’s division was Andy Gerken with a time of 58:46. Winning the Women's division was Jennifer Brown in a time of 1:12:20. The top Crawford County Male was Donald Holter in 1:07:22. There were no Female Crawford County participants this year. In the Team divisions, The Arse Kickers won the Coed Team (1:13:33), School's Out won the Female Team (2:00:00), and Flex Fitness Club won the Men's Team (1:05:49). We'd like feedback on the Triathlon.
