2008 Bucyrus YMCA Team & Individual Triathlon

Where:  Bucyrus Area YMCA                 When:  Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 9:00 am        Check-in:  7:30-8:30 am  

 

Registration: 

Entries must be postmarked or arrive via fax by Tues., May 20, 2008 .  Checks must arrive by Thursday, May 22, 2008 .  Race day registration will be allowed for those individuals or teams who make prior arrangements with the Race Committee via email at kchavatzas@bucyrusymca.org .  Limited to 100 entries with preference given to pre-registered entrants.

Swim:  

500-yd pool swim in 6-lane, 25-yd indoor pool.  Heats will be determined by estimated time marked on entry form.  All unmarked (no time) entries will be placed in final (slowest) heats.

 

Bike:

12-mile route on township paved roads.  Roads will not be closed to traffic.

 

Run:

3.5-mile course on township paved roads.  Roads will not be closed to traffic.

 

Parking: 

Parking at the YMCA is limited.  There is additional parking across the street.

Awards:

  •      The top finisher overall in Women’s and Men’s plus the top three finishers in the following Women’s and Men’s age groups: 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, and 50  & over.

  •     The top finisher in the Team category for Men, Women, and Coed.

  •     The top male and female finisher from Crawford County .

Fee:

$20 for individuals.  $40 for teams. Participants will receive T-Shirts & refreshments.
